At CSG we are actively looking for casual and freelance security staff to support our clients across a wide variety of live events, sporting fixtures and high profile venues. 

SIA qualified employees receive above industry average pay with hourly rates from £14.30* per hour on match day. We pride ourselves on paying promptly too. Our regular team members enjoy flexible working with hours to suit their lifestyle – all underpinned by a supportive and professional team culture. 

We look for men and women who are friendly and able to combine strong customer service skills with the ability to enforce the rules and regulations required to maintain public safety. All applicants must complete a criminal background check, supply right to work documentation and proof of current SIA qualifications.

Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager you will:

  • Implement and oversee Operational Security projects and the events, overseeing all aspects of delivery.
  • As the Operations Manager you will report into the COO but will work closely with the CEO on projects and new client onboarding involving Quality Assurance.
  • You will oversee all operational Quality Assurance, assisting the client Senior Supervisor as required.
  • As a key role within the establishment the role is responsible for leading security operations, growth and continuous improvement.


Key activities and responsibilities

  • Initiate and maintain, including the Quality Assurance of new clients and all existing clients.
  • Ensure all SOP’s, reporting, Risk Assessments and Health and Safety are in place and being adhered to.
  • Proactively meet with our clients periodically as and when needed and to drive client relationships and retention.
  • Oversee and lead on projects, ensuring staff numbers are met, deployments, equipment and logistics are all first class.
  • Understand the bespoke needs of the client and oversee delivery and QA.
  • Ensure delivery cohesion is in place.
  • Build rapport with all external stakeholders, clients, and security staff on each site.
  • Provide information and presentations updates to our clients through great communication.
  • To proactively lead and manage client relationships, promote new business, and follow up opportunities liaising with the company CEO on any potential new clients. There are commission opportunities with all new business secured.
  • Working closely with the COO and CEO deliver any bespoke operational project as required.
  • Maintain and improve security incident response procedures and playbooks for each client.
  • Champion first class security practice within the company, identifying areas for improvement, technology growth and delivering change to achieve this.
  • Ensure we are delivery compliant and adhering to Government and SIA Frameworks.
  • Champion client growth and work closely with the CEO regarding opportunities.
  • Identify possible successes and weaknesses within the CSG team and report to CSG management.
  • Ensure that CSG staff have the appropriate resources to do the job and are always smart and a professional representation of the company.
  • Ensure that CSG staff are always conducting their duties professionally with any issues or incidents reported and logged.


Relationships

As the Operations Manager, you will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, to facilitate growth, efficiencies, and integration across the business.

Hours of work

A 40-hour week working some match days, timings are to be agreed with our COO / CEO. You may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods or match days to meet the demands of the business, including some overseas travel as required.

Essentials

  • Previous experience of working within a similar role within the security industry including brand protection.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of resources and equipment due diligence.
  • First class communication (verbal, written and listening skills), with excellent spelling, grammar, and the ability to produce error-free documents.
  • Experience of Business Growth and Business Development.
  • Strong use of technology. proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Very good understanding of company policies and the ability to implement them.
  • Valid SIA license
  • Full clean driving license with no points
